Videographer for a Conference

Job Title: Local Videographer & Audio Tech for VIP Interviews (3 Full Days / No Editing) Location: Chicago Dates Needed: July 26-28 Budget: $2,000 (Package Rate for 3 Full Days) Job Description: I am the founder of a health-tech startup and will be conducting high-profile, on-camera interviews with VIP medical professionals at an upcoming medical conference. We are setting up a stationary, pop-up interview space (high-top table, barstools, and a branded floor-to-ceiling backdrop) in a quiet hallway area. We need a local professional to handle the complete technical execution so I can focus purely on hosting. No post-production editing is required. You must be located in Chicago or able to commute there for the project The Schedule (Standardized 8-Hour Blocks): Sunday: Approx. 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Exact Call Time TBD based on guest flight schedules. Includes 1 hour for setup/wrap). Monday: 8:30 AM Call Time (Setup) | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Interviews) | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (File Transfer & Wrap). Tuesday: 8:30 AM Call Time (Setup) | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Interviews) | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (File Transfer & Wrap). What You Will Do: Setup & Framing: Arrive at the designated Call Time to build out your gear and frame a clean, well-lit, waist-up Medium Shot of me and one guest. Audio Monitoring (Crucial): This is the most critical part of the job. You must provide two professional wireless lavalier microphones, sync them directly to your camera, and actively monitor the audio levels with headphones the entire time to ensure there is zero echo or clipping in the hallway environment. File Handoff: I have my own video editor. At the end of each day, you will simply dump the raw, unedited video and audio files onto my hard drive before wrapping. What You Must Bring: A professional 4K camera and stable tripod. Two high-quality wireless lavalier microphones. Professional headphones for live audio monitoring. Portable, basic continuous lighting (if you feel it's necessary to combat standard hotel hallway lighting).
