Vietnam Womenswear Sample Room / Product Development Sourcing

I am a womenswear designer based in New York (background in premium/contemporary fashion) and am looking for an experienced Vietnam-based sourcing / product development partner to help identify the right sample room / development facility for a new RTW clothing brand. Important: I am NOT looking for a large production factory at this stage. I am looking for a sample room / product development partner because I will be experimenting and developing many styles before scaling production. I need help identifying factories or sample rooms with the following capabilities: Required: – Strong pattern making / technical development (smart fit, proportion, garment engineering) – Strong woven / cut & sew womenswear experience – High construction quality / industry-standard sewing and finishing – Comfortable with low MOQ, samples, revisions, and experimentation – Fabric sourcing support, while also accepting nominated fabrics – Able to develop both soft drape styles and structured/tailored garments – Strong communication and ability to help manage factory relationships Nice to Have: – Experience working with premium or contemporary fashion brands – Connections to specialty embroidery / embellishment facilities (Vietnam or India is a plus) Scope of Work: – Research and identify strong sample rooms / development facilities – Help vet factories and capabilities – Communicate with suppliers and coordinate introductions – Potentially assist with ongoing development management if the relationship is a good fit Please apply only if you have fashion / apparel sourcing experience, ideally in womenswear development and sample making.
