Vietnamese Translation for App

Job Post: Vietnamese Language & Cultural Expert – Kalome Kalome is looking for a Vietnamese local expert to help launch our restaurant app in Vietnam. We don’t just need a translator; we need someone who understands how people in Vietnam actually order food and use apps. We want our app to feel like it was built in Vietnam, not just translated from English. 1. What you’ll do App Translation: Translate our app’s buttons and text into natural, everyday Vietnamese. We’ll provide you with short videos and simple documents to guide you. Food Descriptions: Review the food descriptions our AI writes. Your job is to make sure they sound delicious and accurate to a local diner. Marketing: Help us adapt our marketing content so it sounds right to local customers. App Testing (UAT): Try out the app and tell us if anything feels "off." If there are specific features or habits that restaurant-goers in Vietnam expect, we want you to tell us so we can add them. 2. Who you are Native speaker: You speak fluent Vietnamese and good English. Food/Tech savvy: You have experience with apps or the food/restaurant industry. Culturally aware: You know how to make content sound "local" rather than just a direct translation. Easy to work with: You’re comfortable giving clear, helpful feedback on our digital documents and videos.
