Virtual Assistant – Administrative, Research, E-commerce & Personal Support

As a small business owner, I'm seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Virtual Assistant to help me manage a variety of business and personal administrative tasks. This is not a highly specialized role. Instead, I am looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, learning new things, solving problems, and helping keep projects moving forward. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, tech-savvy, and comfortable using AI tools to work efficiently. Responsibilities Tasks may include: Research & Information Gathering - Conduct online research on a variety of topics - Compare products, services, and vendors - Find local businesses, resources, contacts, and opportunities - Compile findings into organized spreadsheets or reports - Assist with market and competitor research Administrative Support - Data entry - Spreadsheet creation and maintenance - File organization and document management - Tracking tasks, deadlines, and projects - Creating and maintaining organized records Shopify & Etsy Support - Upload and manage product listings - Organize digital product files - Format product descriptions - Upload images and mockups - Update pricing and product information - Assist with store organization and maintenance Marketing & Content Support - Schedule social media content - Assist with basic content creation using AI tools - Organize marketing materials and assets - Research marketing opportunities Personal Assistant Tasks Occasionally, I may need assistance with personal administrative tasks such as: - Online research - Finding local services and resources - Appointment or event research - Travel and lodging research - Comparing options and gathering information - Other general administrative support tasks Preferred Qualifications - Strong English communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - Strong internet research skills - Experience with Shopify - Experience with Etsy - Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office - Familiarity with Canva - Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini - Ability to work independently and follow instructions Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: - Organized and dependable - Comfortable handling a variety of tasks - Proactive and resourceful - Responsive and communicative - Able to think critically and solve problems - Interested in building a long-term working relationship Hours Starting with approximately 5–10 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on performance and business needs.
