About the Role I'm looking for a proactive, highly organized Virtual Assistant to provide executive and administrative support. This is a long-term, part-time remote position that combines traditional administrative support with research, organization, and occasional business support. The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing changing priorities. Responsibilities • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and reminders • Organize emails, documents, and files • Conduct research and summarize findings • Assist with spreadsheets, reports, budgets, and document organization • Draft professional emails, presentations, and other documents • Research vendors, products, and service providers • Track projects and follow up on action items • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve efficiency and productivity • Recommend process improvements and help keep priorities on track Qualifications Required • 3+ years as a Virtual Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Assistant • Excellent written and spoken English • Ability to draft professional emails and documents with minimal editing • Strong organizational and time management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Google Workspace • Comfortable learning and using new software, AI tools, and productivity platforms • Strong research, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, identify solutions, and take ownership of tasks • Reliable high-speed internet and a dependable workspace Preferred • Experience supporting founders, executives, or small business owners • Background in business, finance, bookkeeping, or operations • Experience handling confidential information Work Schedule • Remote • Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start (hours will vary based on workload; no guaranteed minimum) • Must have 3–4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET) on working days • Available for a brief touch-base between 6:00–7:00 PM ET on agreed-upon days • Responsive during agreed working hours Compensation • Compensation depending on experience and fit • Performance bonuses may be awarded based on initiative, ownership, reliability, quality of work, and overall contribution
