Virtual Assistant Needed – Help Recruit & Pre-Screen Junior Camera Operators for July Video Project

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Virtual Assistant to help us recruit and pre-screen junior video camera operators for an upcoming video production project taking place in July. This role is focused on outreach, coordination, communication, and initial candidate screening. We already have all camera equipment and production needs covered — we simply need help finding the right local camera operator(s) to interview and potentially hire for a 1–2 week project. Responsibilities Post and manage job listings across platforms such as: Craigslist Facebook Groups Instagram / Social Media Local creative forums Other relevant channels Conduct outreach to potential candidates Respond to inquiries and manage communication Schedule and conduct initial screening conversations/interviews Verify candidate availability for July Review basic portfolios or sample work Narrow candidates down to the top 2–3 best fits for final interviews Ideal Candidate Strong communication skills Experience with recruiting, outreach, or talent sourcing Comfortable speaking with creative/video professionals Organized and detail-oriented Able to move quickly and follow up consistently Familiarity with video production terminology is a plus Project Scope Short-term project Estimated duration: 1–3 weeks Flexible hours Potential for future work if the collaboration goes well To Apply Please include: A short introduction about yourself Any experience with recruiting, VA work, or creative industry outreach Examples of similar work you've done (if applicable) Your availability over the next 2 weeks We are looking to begin immediately.
