Virtual Assistant / Operations Manager for Growing Cleaning Business We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Virtual Assistant to help manage and improve the day-to-day operations of a growing cleaning business. This role is long-term and ideal for someone who can take ownership, communicate clearly, and help build systems that improve efficiency for both staff and customers. Main Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Finance * Regular bookkeeping and financial organisation * Catch up and organise bookkeeping dating back 1 year * Manage approximately 80–90 transactions per month * Create and send invoices to customers * Organise invoices and receipts from email accounts * Keep financial records accurate and updated Operations & Management * Help build a better management system for cleaners and customers * Organise schedules, customer records, and cleaner assignments * Improve day-to-day workflow and communication * Help create systems and automations that save time Customer Experience & Automation * Build or manage an automated follow-up system after each clean * Send automatic text messages and/or emails asking customers: * How their clean went * If they were happy with the service * What improvements they would like * Help improve customer retention and overall experience The Type of Person We’re Looking For * Excellent communication skills * Independent and proactive * Takes accountability and ownership of tasks * Highly organised and detail-oriented * Good problem solver * Able to manage day-to-day business tasks without constant supervision * Comfortable suggesting improvements and building systems * Reliable and trustworthy Preferred Experience * Experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or Xero * Experience with CRM systems, automation tools, or scheduling systems * Previous experience working with service-based businesses is a bonus * Familiar with email management and customer service Position Details * Remote position * Long-term opportunity * Flexible hours depending on workload * Opportunity to grow with the business To apply, please send: 1.
