Virtual Assistant — Referral Outreach & Verification Company: Inspirationally Yours LLC Position: Referral Outreach & Verification Virtual Assistant Work Type: Remote / Contract Calling Hours: U.S. Eastern Time business hours About Inspirationally Yours LLC Inspirationally Yours LLC is developing a housing referral network serving individuals and families who may need housing support, with a particular focus on seniors 65+, veterans, re-entry citizens, and individuals connected with housing-navigation and community-support organizations. We are building relationships with organizations throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area that may encounter individuals needing appropriate housing resources. The Role We are looking for a professional, confident, and organized Virtual Assistant to conduct outbound verification and relationship-building calls to organizations on a researched referral list. This is not a lead-research position. You will receive an existing list of organizations and contact information. Your job is to call, verify, clarify, document, and identify the appropriate referral pathway within each organization. This is not aggressive cold calling or high-pressure sales. The goal is professional outreach and accurate information gathering. Responsibilities You will: * Call organizations during U.S. Eastern Time business hours. * Introduce Inspirationally Yours LLC professionally using an approved call framework. * Verify whether the organization works with populations who may need housing resources. * Confirm the correct person, department, program, or process for housing referrals. * Verify names, titles, telephone numbers, email addresses, and referral procedures when available. * Ask structured questions while allowing conversations to develop naturally. * Navigate receptionists and gatekeepers professionally. * Determine whether referrals are handled by a specific person, department, general email, online portal, or another process. * Document the outcome of every call accurately. * Record unsuccessful calls, voicemails, callbacks, incorrect information, and follow-up requirements. * Flag promising referral opportunities for follow-up by Inspirationally Yours LLC. * Maintain confidentiality and remain within the boundaries of the assigned role. What You Will NOT Be Expected to Do You will not: * Research the original list of organizations from scratch. * Make promises about housing availability or placement. * Approve applicants. * Negotiate agreements or partnerships. * Provide legal, financial, or housing eligibility advice. * Pressure organizations into referring clients. * Represent yourself as having authority you have not been given. When a question falls outside your approved information, you should document it and escalate it to Inspirationally Yours LLC. Who We Are Looking For Strong candidates should have experience with some combination of: * Outbound calling * Appointment setting or business development * Referral outreach * Customer service * Administrative support * Contact verification * CRM/data entry * Calling U.S.-based businesses or organizations You should be comfortable speaking with receptionists, case managers, social workers, program coordinators, nonprofit staff, government/community organizations, churches, veterans organizations, senior-service organizations, and other professional contacts. We value clear spoken English, professionalism, persistence without pressure, good judgment, accurate documentation, and the ability to follow instructions. Calling Requirements You must: * Be available to make calls during U.S. Eastern Time business hours. * Have a reliable calling system. * Be able to make calls using a professional U.S. telephone number. * Have reliable internet access. * Be comfortable documenting each call and its outcome. Gatekeeper Scenario You call an organization and the receptionist tells you: “I can’t give you the name, direct number, or email address of the person who handles housing referrals.” What would you say or do next? We are interested in how you handle the situation professionally—not simply whether you can obtain a person’s name. What Success Looks Like Success is not measured simply by the number of calls made. We are looking for someone who can turn a researched organization list into verified, usable referral intelligence by determining: * Who handles referrals. * How referrals should be submitted. * Whether the organization serves populations relevant to our housing services. * Whether the organization is potentially a good referral partner. * What follow-up, if any, should happen next. Accuracy and quality of information are more important than rushing through the call list.
