Virtual Assistant (Tech Bootcamp Operations & Student Support)

We are seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and highly organized Virtual Assistant to support the operations of a fast-growing remote IT bootcamp. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily administration, ensuring our students have an exceptional learning experience and our digital training platform runs seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: -Bootcamp Operations & Platform Management Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Assist in managing course materials, uploading educational resources, and ensuring student access links work perfectly. - Student Support Coordination: Monitor incoming student inquiries via email or chat (e.g., Slack/Discord), answering routine questions regarding schedules, course access, and resources. -Live Session Support: Help coordinate schedules for virtual workshops, webinars, or cohort sessions, and ensure session recordings are processed and posted timely. Administrative & Content Support - Inbound Operations: Manage the primary business inbox, filtering student inquiries, partnership requests, and enrollment questions. -Content & Media Formatting: Format and schedule digital content, update basic website text or resource guides, and help organize digital marketing or student training assets. -Tracking & Data Management: Maintain up-to-date rosters, track student milestone completion, and manage operational sheets. Qualifications & Skills -Experience: 1–2+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, ideally supporting an online community, e-learning platform, coaching program, or tech startup. -Tech Literacy: Comfortable learning and navigating digital tools quickly. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack/Discord, and project management tools (Notion, Trello, or Asana) is required. Experience with an LMS (like Kajabi, Teachable, or Thinkific) is a major plus. - Communication: Exceptional written communication. You must be able to communicate with students and aspiring tech professionals with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. - Organization: A sharp eye for detail. You can manage multiple moving pieces of an educational cohort without letting tasks slip through the cracks. Passions: An interest in IT, cybersecurity, or tech career development is highly preferred.
