Virtual Assistant for TikTok Shop Setup

We are seeking a virtual assistant to help set up a TikTok shop and research creators for brand collaboration. The role involves managing TikTok shop operations, identifying potential creators, and supporting brand launch initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media marketing and TikTok shop management. We are launching Herbal Fuel, a dual-domain performance drink built for people who train hard (CrossFit, BJJ, powerlifting) while holding cognitively demanding professional roles (founders, engineers, designers). Our flagship product is a 12oz RTD (ready-to-drink) can launching on TikTok Shop as our primary sales channel. We need a detail-oriented, proactive VA to support our launch across TikTok Shop setup, creator pipeline research, Amazon seller prep, and ongoing competitive monitoring. PHASE 1 — START IMMEDIATELY: TikTok Shop Setup: Work through full TikTok Shop seller application for a US food/beverage brand Research and document all seller requirements Set up business account, submit verification documents, configure payment and shipping settings Build out full product listing (title, description, images, pricing, SKU, barcode) Set up TikTok Shop affiliate/creator program with commission structure GS1 Barcode Research: Research exact process to purchase a GTIN barcode from GS1 US Document cost, timeline, and steps — present to founder before purchasing anything Creator Pipeline — Research Only (NO outreach): Build a spreadsheet of 50–100 TikTok/Instagram creators in these niches: CrossFit, BJJ, powerlifting, founders, operators, productivity Follower range: 1,000–50,000 only Required columns: Name, Handle, Platform, Follower Count, Engagement Rate, Niche, Contact Email or DM method NO outreach until founder reviews and approves shortlist Amazon Seller Account — Research Only: Document requirements to open Amazon Seller Central account for a beverage brand Research FDA labeling compliance requirements for RTD beverages on Amazon Identify what documentation our manufacturer needs to provide PHASE 2 — WHEN FORMULA IS CONFIRMED: Draft creator outreach DM and email templates Manage creator responses and track follow-ups Coordinate shipping of product to approved creators Track creator content going live — log links, dates, performance metrics PHASE 3 — ONGOING: Monitor TikTok Shop orders and flag anything needing attention Competitive monitoring — track key competitors weekly on TikTok Send weekly summary report: creator pipeline status, TikTok Shop metrics, competitor activity WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO: Send any creator DMs or outreach without explicit founder approval Make copy or compliance decisions on product listings Handle any financial transactions Use unapproved claims or language on any listing REQUIRED SKILLS: TikTok Shop setup experience (food/beverage preferred) Strong Google Sheets proficiency Strong written English Detail-oriented and deadline-driven Reliable communication and availability BONUS IF YOU HAVE: Amazon Seller Central experience Creator or influencer outreach experience Familiarity with supplement or beverage brands Knowledge of CrossFit, BJJ, or fitness niches Hours: 10–20 hours per week Rate: $5–$12/hr based on experience Start: Immediate TO APPLY YOU MUST INCLUDE ALL THREE OF THE FOLLOWING — applications missing any of these will not be reviewed: Brief description of your TikTok Shop setup experience — what type of products, and were any of them food or beverage?
