Virtual Event Producer (Contract/On-Call)

Requirements: Comfortable in a virtual environment Ability to build rapport with diverse client personalities Thrive in a fast-paced setting and adjust quickly during events Familiarity with meeting platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex Fast, stable internet connection for seamless virtual events Quick to pick up on cues for content sharing Ability to manage unexpected changes in content or breakout rooms Proactive and willing to ask questions when unsure Highly recommend using a Mac for optimal performance during virtual events Responsibilities: Lead virtual tasting events from start to finish, including pre-event prep, testing, and post-event debrief Gather and display event content when signaled Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with clients Admit guests from the waiting room to start the event Display and remove content as needed during the event based on cues Manage and launch polls when required Assign and manage breakout rooms for guests, ensuring the scheduled times are followed Monitor the chat for questions or tech-related inquiries Keep the meeting open for clients and guests to enjoy, and move Purple Cork attendees to a debrief breakout session Additional Information: Most events take place between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM PST. This position is on an "As Needed" basis.
