Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant with strong experience in digital marketing, email campaigns, content creation, and general administrative support. This role is central to driving weekly leads, enquiries, and appointment bookings for a professional services business (targeting lawyers, doctors and professional service firms). The ideal candidate will be confident working independently in a virtual environment, with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset focused on lead generation and conversion. Budget TBC. Key Responsibilities: - Email Marketing & Campaign Management - Use Brevo to design, build, segment, and send weekly e-newsletters - Create branded, high-converting EDMs with strong layout, structure, and messaging - Segment email lists to ensure targeted communication for maximum engagement - Send final campaigns after director approval before dispatch - Test all campaigns (links, formatting, mobile responsiveness, deliverability) before dispatch - Content Creation & Copywriting - Write AI-assisted, SEO-friendly, high-converting email and marketing content - Develop messaging tailored to doctors and lawyers, focusing on their key pain points and motivations - Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and conversion goals Website & Content Management - Upload and format content onto a WordPress website - Source and upload brand-aligned imagery for newsletters and web content - Maintain consistency across all digital content and platforms Automation & Lead Generation - Build and manage email automations and nurture sequences in Brevo - Create workflows designed to convert leads into booked appointments - Monitor performance metrics and optimise campaigns for improved engagement and conversions - Support lead generation efforts through email follow-ups and prospect engagement when required General Administration & Marketing Support - Provide ad hoc administrative support including document preparation, updates, and coordination tasks - Assist with general marketing activities as required across campaigns and projects - Support the director with scheduling, organisation, and workflow management tasks related to marketing - Help maintain marketing systems, contact lists, and internal documentation - Ensure smooth day-to-day marketing operations and timely completion of tasks Campaign Approval & Execution - Prepare draft newsletters for director review and feedback - Implement edits and ensure final approval is obtained - Finalise, test, and schedule/send weekly campaigns - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality execution every week Key Objectives of the Role - Drive consistent weekly leads and appointment bookings for the director - Improve email engagement, click-through rates, and conversion performance - Build and maintain effective automated marketing systems - Strengthen brand presence through consistent, high-quality communication - Support overall business operations through reliable marketing and admin assistance Skills & Experience Required - Proven experience in email marketing and digital marketing roles - Strong proficiency in Brevo or similar CRM/email marketing platforms - Experience in copywriting with a focus on conversion and engagement - Understanding of SEO principles and AI-assisted content creation tools - Experience managing WordPress websites - Ability to build automations and segmented marketing workflows - Strong organisational and administrative skills - High attention to detail with branding and formatting - Strong communication skills and ability to engage professionally with leads - Ability to multitask and manage ad hoc tasks efficiently Ideal Candidate - Highly organised, proactive, and self-directed - Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities - Experience in healthcare, legal, or professional services marketing is advantageous - Focused on measurable outcomes such as leads, bookings, and conversions - Reliable, detail-oriented, and efficient in execution - Must be comfortable with working with the Australian market.
