The position demands meticulous data entry, note-taking, managing referral orders, and a deep understanding of both medical and pain management terminology. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of various physical exams, and fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred for this role. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry and Note Taking: Accurately transcribe and input medical data during patient consultations, including histories, exam results, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Referral Orders: Efficiently manage and dispatch referral orders, liaising with other healthcare entities as needed. Medical Terminology: Apply extensive knowledge of medical and pain management terms for precise documentation. Physical Exams: Understand and document various physical examination procedures. Requirements: Proven track record as a Medical Scribe or in a similar healthcare role. Strong knowledge of medical and pain management terminology. Familiarity with different physical exams and their documentation. Experience with athenahealth EMR preferred. Proficient in both English and Spanish, catering to a diverse patient base. Excellent typing and note-taking skills. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Effective communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.
