Visual Content Editor & Stock Photo Researcher for Legal Knowledge Base (Long-Term Opportunity)
Worldwide
About Us We're building one of the largest consumer-focused legal knowledge bases in the United States. Our AI platform, helps consumers understand legal issues before they speak with an attorney. We're currently expanding our website with hundreds of in-depth legal articles covering topics such as Family Law, Personal Injury, Employment Law, Immigration, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, Consumer Rights, Landlord-Tenant Law, Business Law, and many more. Our goal is to become a trusted legal information resource. Every article is professionally written and optimized for Google Search, and we're looking for someone who can make the content visually engaging through carefully selected stock photography. This is an editorial role, not a data entry position. We're looking for someone with excellent visual judgment who can understand written content and select images that genuinely enhance the reader's experience. What You'll Do For each legal article, you will: - Read the article and understand its content. - Determine how many images are appropriate based on the article's structure. - Select high-quality stock photos from our approved paid stock photo websites. - Match each image to the specific content within the article—not just the overall legal topic. - Download the approved images. - Upload the images to our Dropbox. - Copy the Dropbox image URL into our tracking spreadsheet for the corresponding page or paragraph. Some articles may require only a single hero image at the top of the page, while others may require 20 or more images throughout the article. The number of images depends on the amount of content and the number of sections that would benefit from visual reinforcement. The objective is not to hit a target number of images, but to improve the reader's experience by placing meaningful, relevant visuals wherever they add value. Examples A paragraph discussing: - An unhappy child during a custody dispute should include an image showing a child looking distressed with a parent or adult in the background. - A motorcycle accident should feature a motorcycle accident—not a car accident. - Workplace discrimination should depict an office environment relevant to the subject. - Estate planning should show wills, families, or planning discussions—not generic courthouse photos. - Bankruptcy should show someone dealing with financial stress rather than simply a courthouse. - Immigration should reflect the specific immigration topic being discussed rather than generic travel images. The goal is for every image to feel like it was chosen specifically for that paragraph rather than randomly selected because it relates to the overall legal topic. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: - Has excellent attention to detail. - Has strong visual judgment and understands storytelling through images. - Can interpret written content and select images that support the reader's understanding.- - Is organized and follows instructions carefully. - Is comfortable working with Dropbox and Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel). - Has experience using stock photo websites such as Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, iStock, or similar platforms. - Can work independently while maintaining consistency across hundreds of pages. Experience working with educational websites, online publications, blogs, knowledge bases, legal websites, or editorial content is a strong plus. Trial Project We'll begin with a paid one-week trial. During the trial we'll evaluate: - Accuracy of image selection - Attention to detail - Organization - Productivity and turnaround time - Overall quality of work If the trial is successful, we'll extend the project into a long-term engagement covering hundreds of legal knowledge base pages. Why This Project Matters Millions of people search Google every day looking for answers to legal questions. We're building a comprehensive legal knowledge base that helps consumers better understand their legal issues while introducing them to Vikk's AI legal assistant. Your work will play an important role in making this content more engaging, easier to understand, and more helpful for readers. To Apply Please include the following in your proposal: 1. A brief introduction about yourself. 2. Any experience selecting stock photography or editing website content. 3. Examples of websites, blogs, or editorial projects you've worked on (if available). 4. Approximately how many hours per week you're available. 5. Which stock photo websites you've worked with. 6. The word "Motorcycle" at the beginning of your proposal so we know you've read the entire job description. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating visually engaging educational content and wants to become part of a long-term project with a growing AI company.
