Visual Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer to support our EdTech platform, Globestar ULIO, with high-quality design and content assets. ULIO is a student success platform that helps students with career discovery, profile building, university planning, applications, and learning resources. We need someone who can create clean, modern, student-friendly visuals across marketing, product education, and onboarding content. Scope of Work: The designer will support us with: Social media creatives and carousels Reels / short-form video assets Emailers and newsletter visuals Website and landing page graphics Pitch decks and presentation design Onboarding guides and product walkthroughs Tutorial-style visual explainers Infographics and student-facing content Brand-consistent templates for repeat use What We’re Looking For: Strong visual design sense and attention to detail Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Ability to create clean, structured, and consistent design layouts Experience designing carousels, reels, pitch decks, emailers, and marketing creatives Ability to simplify complex information into easy-to-understand visuals Comfortable working with feedback and quick turnaround timelines Interest or experience in EdTech, SaaS, education, student-focused brands, or startups is preferred Nice to Have: Basic video editing skills for reels/tutorials Experience creating onboarding guides or product walkthroughs Content strategy or copywriting ability Experience with Mailchimp/email campaign visuals Understanding of Gen Z/student-focused design
