Visual Identity Designer for App-Based Learning Platform (Brand, Templates & Course Content System)
Worldwide
Design Brief: Visual Identity Development: PR for Beginners Project Overview: PR for Beginners is a new educational platform designed to simplify public relations for a beginner audience. The visual identity will form the foundation of an app-based learning ecosystem and must scale seamlessly across educational content, presentations, video learning modules, downloadable resources, social media, and future digital products. The visual identity should feel vibrant, approachable, and typographically strong, reflecting the bold and educational nature of the platform. We are seeking a modern, scalable design system that feels energetic, intelligent, and highly engaging while remaining simple enough to apply consistently across an evolving digital environment. Objective: Create a distinctive visual identity that is: • bold, bright, and memorable • approachable and beginner-friendly • typographically led • professional without feeling corporate • flexible enough to scale across an app-based learning experience, social content, presentations, educational resources, and future digital products Target Audience: Individuals new to PR, including: • small business owners • entrepreneurs and founders • content creators • consultants • students and early-career professionals Typically aged 25–55, they are digitally savvy, time-poor, and looking for practical, accessible guidance presented in an engaging and modern way. Creative Direction: The identity should feel: • bold • contemporary • energetic • intelligent • optimistic • approachable We are particularly drawn to brands that use typography as the hero element, supported by strong colour, dynamic layouts, and simple graphic devices that can extend across app / digital and motion applications. Design Elements: Typography: Typography should be central to the identity, using bold, modern sans-serif typefaces with strong hierarchy, excellent readability, and plenty of personality. Colour Palette: A bright and confident colour palette inspired by the references below. The system should feel distinctive, energetic, and work effectively across app, digital, social, presentation, and print environments. Logo & Identity System: A typographically driven logo and flexible visual system that can adapt across multiple touchpoints. Please explore: • horizontal and stacked lock-ups • icon/avatar treatments • creative typographic interactions • simple graphic and motion graphic devices that can scale across the brand Deliverables: Logo design (horizontal and stacked formats) Icon/avatar treatment Colour palette with HEX values Typography recommendations (headline, subhead, and body fonts). Basic brand guidelines (how to use the elements cohesively). Motion-ready elements, such as an animated logo concept or recommendations on how elements should move when animated. Application Examples: Examples demonstrating the identity applied across: • app-style learning screens • social media templates • educational content presentation emplates • presentation and course slide templates (such as Google Slides, PowerPoint or Canva) • workbook templates • website headers • video and motion frames The presentation templates should be designed as a scalable learning system that can be used to create educational content within the platform. Templates should consider hierarchy, readability, animation potential, and consistency across multiple course modules. Design Process & Feedback: We would like to see three initial creative directions for review, exploring different typography styles, colour approaches, and visual systems. Following concept selection, we anticipate up to three rounds of refinement before final delivery. Timeline: Preferred timeline: 2–3 weeks from commencement.
