Visual Merchandiser for Independent Record Stores (Remote OK)

We're looking for a talented Visual Merchandiser to help transform 2 independent record stores in Los Angeles. This can be a remote position if you're able to source all recommended fixtures, shelving, signage, and materials online and tell us what to do to implement it Our stores have great inventory and character, but right now they feel a little too much like bazaar/warehouse. We want someone who can help turn them into spaces that feel warm, nostalgic, curated, and inviting places where customers want to slow down, explore, and stay awhile. We're looking for someone who knows how to make a big impact without a big budget. What You'll Do - Source affordable shelving, display fixtures, signage, decals, lighting, and merchandising materials. - Recommend layout improvements that improve customer flow and product discovery. - Create a cohesive visual identity that feels cozy, curated, and memorable. - Find creative, budget-friendly solutions that maximize our existing space. You're a Great Fit If You... - Have professional experience in retail visual merchandising. - Know how to create beautiful spaces on a small business budget. - Are resourceful and enjoy sourcing affordable, high-impact solutions. - Have a strong eye for customer experience and store design. - Window displays are super important.
