Visual Production Lead
Worldwide
Part Time | Remote About Us We are a digital health technology company developing evidence based behavioral health programs supported by scientific research. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, researchers, scientific writers, engineers, designers, and product leaders working together to build innovative mental wellness solutions. About the Role We are seeking an artist, animator, or designer to serve as a hands-on Visual Production Lead. We need someone who can create high-quality art, animation, and video assets for our programs that are visually consistent with the Colliga brand. Just as importantly, this person should help us design and operate a production system that is repeatable, consistent, professional, cost-effective, and time-efficient. This is a hands-on, build-and-run role. You will produce assets directly while also establishing the visual standards, templates, workflows, and quality-control processes that keep output consistent as our content volume grows. You will advise us on the best production methods and tools, and determine where AI-assisted generation, traditional creative tools, reusable assets, or other approaches best improve quality and efficiency. Above all, everything we ship across programs should remain cohesive, never inconsistent or generically AI-generated. This is treated as an urgent, specialized hire. We need someone with both strong creative judgment and experience building efficient visual-production workflows, not simply someone who can execute individual design requests. Responsibilities • Produce art, animation, and video assets directly for Colliga's programs, visually consistent with our brand. • Serve as the hands-on creative resource for programs that need new or updated visual assets. • Bring high production value to every asset, from concept through final delivery. • Establish style guides, templates, workflows, and reusable asset systems so output stays consistent across programs and contributors. • Define and run quality-control processes that catch inconsistency or generic-looking work before it ships. • Document workflows so standards hold up even as volume grows or others join the process. • Advise on the best production methods and tools for our needs, based on your expertise. • Determine where AI-assisted generation, traditional creative tools, reusable assets, or hybrid approaches best improve quality and efficiency for a given asset type. • Stay current on new creative tools and techniques, and recommend adoption where it meaningfully helps. • Build and help operate a scalable production pipeline that lets Colliga generate high-quality assets at a much faster pace. • Build in cost- and time-efficiency without compromising craft or brand consistency. • Ensure everything shipped across programs looks and feels like one brand: polished and intentional, never inconsistent or generically “AI-generated.” What We're Looking For Required • A strong portfolio in illustration, animation, and/or video that demonstrates both craft and a consistent creative point of view. • Experience designing and running a visual production pipeline or workflow, not just producing individual assets on request. • Working knowledge of AI-assisted creative tools and a clear, critical sense of when they help and when they hurt quality. • Fluency with traditional, industry-standard creative tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, or comparable software. • Sharp creative judgment and the ability to art-direct generic-looking or “AI-generated” work into something polished and on-brand. • Comfort operating independently and building systems and standards from a blank page. • Must be responsive, responsible, and able to manage this role alongside any other professional commitments. Preferred • Experience in health, wellness, or another regulated or values-driven consumer product space. • Experience directing outsourced or freelance creative contributors. • A background spanning both static and illustration work as well as motion or video production. What Success Looks Like • Colliga has a repeatable, professional production system for art, animation, and video. • Visual output is cohesive, high-quality, and consistent across all programs. • AI-assisted and traditional production methods are used deliberately, wherever each is the better tool. • Assets are produced at a meaningfully faster pace without sacrificing quality or cost-efficiency. • Standards, templates, and workflows are documented and hold up as volume grows. To Apply Please include: • Your CV. • A portfolio or reel that best represents your art, animation, and/or video work. • A brief example of a production process or pipeline you built or improved, and what changed as a result. • Details of your current professional commitments and the weekly capacity you can reliably dedicate to this role. • Your hourly rate.
