Visual Web Catalog Application Developer

Build a touch-friendly visual web catalog application with the ability to favorite items/images and build out a project. The application should be built on a backend database to ensure data management and retrieval efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless user experience. Looking to be very visual with a Pinterest type feel of mostly images. Idea is a client can just mess around and go within the categories and favorite the images/products they like. We can also have a track where we move them step by step through the catalog to build out their dream. Looking to be very inspirational and not just a catalog though it can be used as a catalog as well. I have attached a quick example of the idea, want to make it look very professional though and easy to navigate. Needs to be able to used on the web as well as iOS and Desktop apps though could be web apps.
