AI Voice Agent Developer | Vapi + n8n + Claude Inbound & Outbound Call Automation with Retell AI

We're losing leads because inbound calls go unanswered and outbound follow-ups happen too slowly. We're looking for an experienced AI Voice Agent Developer to build a reliable, natural-sounding voice assistant that handles calls, qualifies leads, books appointments, and keeps our CRM updated automatically — without sounding robotic. The backend automation will run through n8n and Make.com, with Claude powering conversation logic and call summarization. Before the full engagement begins, all applicants will complete a small paid test project ($10 fixed price) so we can evaluate real working style and technical fit — strong performance leads directly into the full role. What You'll Own Voice Agent Build — Design and deploy inbound and outbound calling workflows using Vapi or Retell AI, connected through Twilio. Conversation Design — Write natural, human-sounding call scripts and lead qualification logic using Claude for prompt engineering and reasoning. Automation — Set up n8n and Make.com workflows to route call outcomes, transcripts, and summaries into our CRM. CRM & Calendar Sync — Connect the voice agent to GoHighLevel or HubSpot for appointment booking and automatic follow-up triggers. Call Quality — Optimize latency, accuracy of answering-machine detection, and overall booking conversion. Documentation — Provide call logs, error handling, and clear setup documentation for the team. Requirements Proven hands-on experience with Vapi, Retell AI, or comparable voice AI platforms Strong understanding of Twilio for call routing and SMS Hands-on experience with n8n and Make.com for post-call automation Experience integrating Claude API for conversation logic and summarization Familiarity with GoHighLevel or HubSpot CRM integrations Strong written and spoken English, clear and proactive communication
