Voiceover/Narration Talent for Investigative News

We’re exploring Voiceover / Narration Talent for a new short-form investigative-style news project focused on public accountability, public records, government oversight, and serious factual storytelling. The voiceover style should feel credible, clear, serious, and engaging — closer to local news, documentary narration, or explanatory journalism than influencer content or commercial ads. This role may be used depending on format. Some videos may use human voiceover, internal narration, reporter-led delivery, or other formats. We are building a roster of possible voices for 30–60 second vertical videos. Responsibilities may include: * Recording approved 30–60 second scripts * Delivering clear, factual narration * Maintaining a serious but engaging tone * Avoiding overly dramatic, salesy, or sensational delivery * Turning around clean audio quickly * Following pronunciation notes for names, agencies, companies, and legal terms * Making revisions when needed Ideal candidates have experience with news narration, documentary voiceover, explainers, YouTube narration, public-affairs content, legal/policy material, or serious short-form storytelling. Please include 2–4 voice samples, preferably including one serious/news-style read. We will share more details with shortlisted candidates.
