WMS Automation Consultant

Key Accountabilities • Configure and implement WMS automation and robotics processes. • Develop functional templates and implementation scripts specific to warehouse automation. • Follow established configuration guidelines for consistent deployments. • Document all automation configurations clearly and comprehensively. • Support ongoing improvement of automation processes through feedback and experience sharing. • Regular collaboration with Automation Architect, Technical Services Manager, and internal operational teams. • Frequent interaction with regional and global deployment teams and stakeholders. • Supports efficient resource management during automation project deployments. • Collaborates effectively to meet project timelines and objectives Knowledge, Experience & Skills Education & Qualifications: • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline. • Desirable: Certification in robotics, automation systems, or cloud technologies. Experience: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in 3PL from both systems and operational perspectives. • Extensive experience with Manhattan Active WMS, Blue Yonder WMS, and/or other enterprise WMS systems. • Five years’ experience leading the technical delivery of complex, integrated WMS solutions. • Practical experience implementing automation templates and integrating with warehouse automation systems. • Experience within global logistics or large-scale warehouse automation projects. • Exposure to cloud-based WMS deployments, preferably on Google Cloud Skills: • Detailed configuration knowledge of WMS systems used within CEVA Logistics (Manhattan Active / Blue Yonder WMS). • Knowledge of change and release processes for IT products. • Knowledge of software testing and QA processes for warehouse automation solutions. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. • Research and development (R&D) approach to solution design and implementation. • MYSQL / MSSQL / Oracle (PL SQL) for database management and development. • Integration expertise (EDI/API) and middleware software development with extensive experience in integrating with automation and robotics solutions (WCS). • Programming skills in Java/Groovy/Python. • Experience with version control systems (GitLab/GitHub). • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and Agile methodologies • Basic knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably Google Cloud. • Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external client management. • Analytical mindset with creative, out-of-the-box thinking. • Ability to maintain strong working relationships and rapport with all project team members. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Skilled in effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
