Hourly · Remote · Est. 1–2 hours of work Overview We're building a consumer device with a spoken AI companion character and need a voice actor to record training audio for a custom synthetic voice. You record once (~60 minutes of finished audio); our AI voice platform then speaks in your voice inside our product. This includes an AI voice-cloning rights buyout — please read the rights section before applying. The voice Male, warm, calm, unhurried, gently authoritative Common/neutral American accent, mid-to-lower register The feel: a wise, kind presence speaking softly to one person — comforting and steady. NOT a movie-trailer narrator, NOT a preacher projecting to a crowd. Bedside, not pulpit. The character is Jesus in a faith/wellness product — reverent, loving, peaceful delivery Scope of work Record ~60 minutes of finished audio from a script we provide (conversational passages, comforting reflections, prayer- and scripture-style reading). Expect a ~1.5- 2 hour session. Deliver clean edited WAV files (44.1kHz/24-bit minimum, mono): mistakes removed, no EQ/compression/reverb/processing — clean raw takes. Consistent tone, pacing, and mic distance throughout — the AI clone mirrors your delivery exactly, so an even, sustained read matters more than dramatic range. Complete a short voice-consent verification if our AI voice provider requires one (a ~1-minute recorded statement; we'll guide you). One round of pickup re-records (sections where tone drifted) within 14 days. Technical requirements Quiet, treated recording space (pro home studio fine) — no room echo, no background noise Large-diaphragm condenser mic or equivalent broadcast-quality WAV 44.1kHz/24-bit or higher, mono, single speaker only Rights (please only apply if you accept) Full buyout: perpetual, worldwide commercial rights to the recordings AND to synthetic voices trained from them, for use in our products, apps, and marketing. You agree not to license this same character-style read to competing AI voice products. Short written agreement provided before recording.
