Freelance Graphic Designer – State-Themed Apple Watch Band Collection (50 Designs) Overview Affinity Bands is seeking a highly creative graphic designer and illustrator to develop a premium collection of 50 full-print TPU Apple Watch band designs—one unique design for each U.S. state. This is not a logo placement project. We are building a commercially successful retail product line where every state feels like its own collectible piece of art. Our goal is to create a cohesive product family while ensuring every state’s artwork is completely original and celebrates its own identity, history, culture, landmarks, wildlife, landscapes, and personality. We will provide production templates, examples, and technical specifications. Final artwork must be delivered production-ready for UV printing. Project Scope Design one complete artwork for each of the 50 U.S. states. Each design should: * Be original artwork (no stock illustrations or AI-generated images copied from elsewhere). * Capture the personality of the state. * Be optimized for a long, narrow watch band layout. * Flow seamlessly across the entire printable area. * Extend edge-to-edge with no empty space. * Be visually compelling from a distance while rewarding close inspection with thoughtful details. * Follow the overall style direction while remaining unique to each state. Initial Collection Style The first collection will follow a bold, modern aesthetic inspired by: * Graffiti * Street art * Layered paint textures * Murals * Urban illustration * Bold typography * Spray paint * Hand-painted elements * Dynamic composition Each state should feature its own distinct color palette, landmarks, symbols, and artistic influences rather than repeating the same composition. Examples Examples of the desired quality and creative direction will be provided, including the target design language: Reference Collection These examples are intended to communicate the desired level of creativity and style. We Will Provide * Production templates * Print dimensions * Safe areas * Bleed specifications * Example completed designs * Brand direction * State research references * Printing requirements * Technical export requirements Deliverables For each state, provide: * Layered Adobe Illustrator (.AI) * Editable vector artwork whenever practical * High-resolution print-ready artwork * Linked assets properly organized * Fonts outlined or included with licensing information * Organized layers * Production-ready files matching our templates exactly Artwork must require minimal additional production work before printing. Requirements We’re looking for someone with experience in: * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe Photoshop * Large-format print graphics * Consumer product graphics * Street art illustration * Apparel or lifestyle brand design * Color theory * Production-ready artwork Experience designing products such as: * Skateboards * Snowboards * Apparel * Shoes * Phone cases * Gaming accessories * Stickers * Drinkware * Automotive wraps * Watch bands is highly desirable. Ideal Candidate You should be able to: * Develop an entire product collection with consistent quality. * Balance creativity with commercial appeal. * Accept feedback and iterate quickly. * Work independently. * Deliver on schedule. * Maintain organized project files.
