Wearable Tech Sourcing Agent / Product Development Consultant

Job: Wearable Tech Sourcing Agent / Product Development Consultant We are developing a custom wearable tech product for a professional performing artist. The product involves flexible LED technology integrated into a wearable piece designed for live stage performance. We have an approved design spec and 3D model in hand. What we need is someone who can identify and engage the right manufacturer to produce a working prototype, with delivery by end of summer. You will be responsible for: - Researching and shortlisting qualified manufacturers capable of producing custom flexible LED wearables - Obtaining detailed quotes on our behalf - Vetting factories for quality, reliability, and relevant experience - Managing sample procurement through to prototype delivery - Serving as our point of contact with the manufacturer throughout the process Requirements: - Proven experience sourcing custom LED or wearable electronics products - Existing manufacturer relationships in China, preferably Shenzhen or Guangdong - Mandarin fluency preferred, or strong working experience with Chinese suppliers - Ability to arrange or conduct factory quality inspections - Strong communication and project management skills Project structure: Milestone-based. Payment tied to deliverables: verified factory shortlist, quotes obtained, sample ordered, prototype delivered and approved. Budget: Open to discussion.
