Web Designer for Squarespace and WordPress

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Designer to create, update, and maintain websites on both Squarespace and WordPress platforms on behalf of our agency. The ideal candidate has experience designing visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and user-friendly websites that support lead generation, strong branding, and SEO performance. Experience working with real estate, property management, or service-based business websites is a strong plus, especially for candidates who understand local SEO, service-area pages, landing pages, and conversion-focused design. Responsibilities include designing and building new websites in Squarespace and WordPress, updating and improving existing websites, creating clean and professional page layouts for service-based businesses, and ensuring websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. This role may also include making minor design updates while staying within existing brand guidelines, adding or updating website sections, images, buttons, forms, blogs, and landing pages, working with custom CSS or HTML when needed, and supporting basic on-page SEO best practices such as heading structure, image alt text, internal links, and clean page organization. The right candidate should be able to identify design flaws, spacing issues, broken layouts, weak calls-to-action, and opportunities for improvement. We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly, work independently, and complete tasks efficiently with minimal oversight. Qualified candidates should have experience with both Squarespace and WordPress. At minimum, your portfolio should include at least one live Squarespace website and one live WordPress website. A strong understanding of responsive design is required, along with the ability to follow existing brand colors, fonts, and style guidelines. Basic understanding of SEO best practices is important. Comfort with custom CSS, HTML blocks, mobile fixes, embedded forms, Elementor, Avada, Divi, or similar WordPress builders is a plus. Familiarity with GoHighLevel forms, widgets, or embeds is also a plus.
