Web Developer / Frontend Developer with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

We are looking for a Web Developer to strengthen our CEE Marketing Team by taking ownership of the development, maintenance, and technical quality of JUMO websites across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. In this role, you will cooperate closely with the Global Digital Marketing Team in Germany (HQ), working within a matrix structure: disciplinarily reporting to the Marketing Manager CEE, while receiving functional guidance from global digital experts. The primary focus of the role is delivering web development tasks for the CEE region. Once regional priorities are completed, the Web Developer may support selected global (HQ) projects. Role Overview - Identify root causes impacting visibility, performance, and technical quality. - Coordinate and challenge external agencies to ensure high-quality delivery. - Take ownership of website visibility, technical health, and scalable standards across CEE region. Key Responsibilities Website development and maintenance - Development, optimization, and maintenance of websites based on Adobe AEM CMS. - Implementation of frontend layouts, components, and views in line with UX/UI guidelines and brand standards. - Ensuring high code quality, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across all websites. - Close collaboration with marketing, content, UX, and global digital teams on web-related initiatives. Technical support and optimization - Identification and resolution of technical issues affecting website functionality and visibility. - Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, loading speed, visual stability). - Ensuring technical compliance with SEO requirements (HTML structure, structured data, internal linking). - Supporting integrations with marketing, analytics, and tracking tools in collaboration with digital specialists. Content and CMS management - Independent management, maintenance, and localization of content within Adobe AEM CMS. - Cooperation with local teams to coordinate multilingual and multi-market versions of CEE websites. - Documentation of implementations and technical changes in line with global standards.
