Web Manuals Specialist (Project-Based, Remote) — Aviation Documentation

Air Fleet Management Pty Ltd (AFM) is an Australian aviation consulting and CAMO firm supporting operators across Australia and the Pacific (Parts 91, 121, 135). We need an experienced Web Manuals specialist to help build and maintain controlled aviation documentation (MEL/OMEL, MOE, OM-type manuals) inside the platform. This is project-based work — engagements will come in batches as new manuals or revisions are needed, rather than a fixed daily schedule. Scope of work: Upload and structure manual content in Web Manuals (chapters, LEP, revision/change-log modules, TOC) Populate manual templates with aircraft/operator-specific variables while preserving formatting and controlled-document conventions Manage revision control, temporary revisions, and distribution settings within the platform Apply formatting and structural fixes to existing manuals as needed Liaise on turnaround for each batch of work as it's assigned Requirements: Demonstrated hands-on experience administering/building manuals in Web Manuals (not just general document platforms) — please describe specific past use in your application Strong attention to detail with controlled/versioned documents Comfortable working from templates with strict formatting conventions Good written English and reliable communication for async, project-based handoffs Available to turn around discrete projects promptly when assigned Nice to have: Background or familiarity with aviation manuals (MEL, MOE, OM) or regulatory documentation Experience with Word/Excel-based template systems alongside Web Manuals How to apply: Please include: (1) specific examples of Web Manuals work you've done, (2) your project-based/hourly rate, and (3) your availability for ad-hoc assignments.
