Web Rebuild (Design and Developer) & Growth Marketer: WordPress/Elementor Optimization or Migration
Worldwide
Job Summary Role: WordPress / Webflow Developer & Growth Marketing Partner Core Task: Rebuild a clunky Elementor site into a lightning-fast, easy-to-edit, bilingual platform optimized for high-ticket tours, SEO, and AI search (AEO). Project Type: Fixed-Price Milestones (Phase 1 Technical Rebuild) leading to a long-term monthly relationship (Phases 2 & 3 Growth Marketing). Communication Requirement: Flawless Native English Speaker. Budget: Fair, competitive rates for exceptional execution. EXTRA Points: If you are a motorcyclist and understand the industry firsthand and can see the project from the clients perspective, it would be fantastic to work with a fellow motorcyclist. Read carefully before continuing: We understand the value and importance of AI. We even used it a little to help us create this posting. However if we receive proposals and cover letter that are evidently created using only AI and without a personal touch and understanding of the brief. We will not take it into account. Job Description We are looking for a long-term digital growth partner who possesses both advanced web engineering skills and an active marketing mindset. This is not a role for a basic template customizer; we need someone with the initiative to present new ideas and help us scale our global digital footprint. The immediate project involves resolving heavy "maintenance and update fatigue" on our current WordPress/Elementor setup. You will optimize or migrate our infrastructure to ensure it is ultra-fast, visually striking, simple for our internal team to update, and structurally aligned to drive high-margin custom tour leads over basic rentals. Moving forward, you will guide our organic content, local SEO, and paid ad strategies. About Us Since 2014, we have operated a premium motorcycle touring company based in Colombia: Elephant Moto. We are proud official worldwide partners of BMW Motorrad, attracting affluent international riders (primarily males, ages 40–65) who invest in high-end, custom motorcycle vacations. While custom tours are our core high-ticket business, we also offer motorcycle rentals and training. We operate globally and natively in two languages, managing separate versions for English www.elephantmoto.com and Spanish www.elephantmoto.com/es Our Technical & Hosting History We have been managing our digital presence for over a decade. To help you understand our current maintenance fatigue, here is where we have been: 2014 - Weebly (Bluehost) Pros: Perfect fit for our early needs; easy visual design, minimal maintenance, simple updates. Cons: Feature-limited as the business grew globally. 2020 - Wix (Bluehost) Pros: None for our model. Cons: Disastrous. Our organic SEO completely tanked, forcing us to abandon the platform. 2024: WordPress + Elementor (Gorila Hosting) Pros: Recovered and improved our SEO standing significantly. Cons: Extremely clunky and slow editor. Too many plugins create constant update fatigue, and core updates occasionally crash the page. Our Current Infrastructure Problem: We are currently utilizing a local Colombian provider (Gorila Hosting), but we want to scale up to a larger, premium international host. Additionally, managing our English and Spanish sites requires editing pages individually, which is highly inefficient and prone to hreflang architecture errors. Critical Business Challenges Search Intent Shift: Recent research shows we are being found online more for "motorcycle rentals" than our high-margin "custom tours." We need to structurally change the site architecture to put custom tours back in the center. Rising Competition: Local and international competition is growing, and we are losing ground in organic searches. We need an agile, fast site optimized for traditional SEO and modern AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) so AI search engines (like ChatGPT and Gemini) surface us as the definitive luxury operator in Colombia. Content Stagnation: We need a streamlined blog and content publishing workflow that I can update easily myself (some technical knowledge, but not a developer) without fighting a heavy, unstable visual builder. Scope of Work Phase 1: Short-Term (Technical & Interface Overhaul) Platform Selection: Our strong preference is to stay on WordPress but possibly remove Elementor in favor of a faster, native editing interface (such as native Gutenberg blocks or a lightweight framework like Bricks Builder). However, we are open to a full migration to Webflow if you can make a compelling case for how it solves our bilingual and maintenance needs. International Hosting Migration: Migrate our ecosystem away from the local host to a premium, stable international alternative (e.g., WP Engine or SiteGround). Flawless Bilingual Integration: Fix our en and /es setup so it maps hreflang tags natively and accurately, eliminating the need to maintain disconnected, separate page structures. Funnel & SEO Correction: Restructure the homepage and user journey to explicitly prioritize Premium Custom Tours, pushing rentals and training to a secondary focus. Fix existing technical tag and site-speed errors. Local SEO Sync: Optimize and tightly integrate our Google Business Profile (Google My Business) with the website to maximize local search signals and trust for international travelers. Phase 2: Medium-Term (Traffic & Omni-Channel Content) Content Strategy & Platform Amplification: Build out a lightning-fast blog system and map out a high-intent content strategy. This strategy should extend beyond our blog to organic platform amplification (e.g., translating our authority into engaging updates on channels like LinkedIn to capture executive/high-earner riders). Paid Ads Strategy: Develop and launch our first-ever targeted paid advertising strategy (Google Search Ads / Meta) specifically dialed in to target affluent global riders. Phase 3: Long-Term (Growth & Social Strategy) A long-term, on-call relationship for continuous digital business development. Provide proactive social media recommendations and content directions to ensure our organic social footprint mirrors our premium brand status and drives qualified tour leads. Required Qualifications & "Nice-to-Haves" Native English speaker with flawless communication skills (Non-negotiable). Deep mastery of modern, lightweight WordPress architectures (or Webflow). No basic "template-builder" generalists. Strong understanding of Technical SEO, AEO, international routing, and hreflang management. Mastery of Google Business Profile (GMB) optimization and local map pack integration. Experience with multi-platform B2C and B2B content writing (Websites, Blogs, LinkedIn). Experience marketing to high-ticket, premium, or luxury adventure travel segments. Timeline & Budget Type: Fixed-price milestones for Phase 1 (technical overhaul), transitioning to an ongoing monthly retainer for marketing, social consulting, and maintenance. Budget: We are looking for an exceptional partner and are willing to pay a fair, competitive amount for top-tier expertise and clean execution. We want true value and efficiency, not an inflated agency rate or the cheapest template fix. How to Apply To ensure you have read this thorough brief, please start your application with the exact phrase: "Elephant Moto: Stories to share for a lifetime." In your proposal, please tell us: Based on our history with Weebly, Wix, and Elementor, do you recommend we rebuild on WordPress using a lighter editor (Gutenberg/Bricks) or migrate to Webflow? Why? Briefly describe how you would approach solving some of our problems. Or a new take on how to approach our current situation. Share 1–2 examples of high-end or multilingual sites where you managed the technical build, organic SEO, or external platform content.
