# Web Developer Needed to Turn Existing Design Into an Editable Business Website ## Project Overview I have already designed a website for my luxury decorative wall finish company, **Umami Walls**. The design is complete and currently exists as a coded prototype. I am looking for an experienced web developer to turn the existing design into a fully functional, production-ready website while preserving the overall layout, branding, appearance, and user experience. This is not an e-commerce website. It is a service-based business website focused on generating leads, showcasing completed projects, building credibility, and collecting customer inquiries. ## Build and Development Requirements The developer will be responsible for: * Converting the existing coded design into a live, production-ready website * Preserving the approved design and luxury visual style * Making the website fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile * Optimizing the website for fast loading speeds * Creating an SEO-friendly website structure * Using clean and maintainable code * Making sure all links, buttons, forms, animations, and interactive elements work correctly * Fixing any bugs or display issues before final delivery ## Content Management System I want to be able to update and manage the website myself without needing to hire a developer for basic changes. Please implement an easy-to-use CMS that allows me to: * Upload and replace project photos * Add new project galleries * Reorder project photos * Edit website text * Update service pages * Add, remove, or edit testimonials * Add or remove social proof logos * Change icons and graphics where appropriate * Update basic SEO titles and descriptions * Add, remove, and reorder company logos in the Brands We’ve Worked With section The CMS should be simple and organized so that a non-technical business owner can use it comfortably. ## Brands We’ve Worked With Section Directly below the homepage hero banner, I want a section titled something such as: **Brands We’ve Worked With** or **Trusted By** This section should display the logos of notable companies and clients we have worked with. The section should match the clean, modern, luxury style of the website. I need to be able to manage this section through the CMS, including: * Adding new company logos * Removing company logos * Reordering the logos * Updating company names * Adding company website links if needed ## Contact and Lead Generation The website should include: * A general contact form * A quote request form * Email notifications when an inquiry is submitted * Spam protection * Secure storage of form submissions * The ability to view submitted inquiries * The ability to export form submissions if possible ## Website Pages The website includes pages such as: * Home * Services * Portfolio / Projects * Individual project galleries * About * Contact * Testimonials ## Deliverables The final deliverables should include: * A fully functioning and production-ready website * Accurate implementation of the existing design * Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile versions * Complete CMS setup * A fully editable Brands We’ve Worked With section * Working contact and quote request forms * Email notification setup * Spam protection * Hosting and domain deployment * Basic on-page SEO setup * Website testing and bug fixes * Basic CMS training or written instructions * Transfer of all source code, website files, login credentials, and ownership upon completion ## Project Scope and Payment The project scope, required features, milestones, and final deliverables should be agreed upon in writing before development begins. Payment will be made once the agreed website, functionality, CMS access, deployment, and listed deliverables have been completed and verified. If any agreed deliverables are missing, incomplete, or materially different from the approved scope, the developer will be given a reasonable opportunity to correct them before payment is released. I am happy to pay promptly for work that meets the agreed requirements. However, I will not approve payment for incomplete work or for a website that does not include the features and deliverables agreed upon before the project begins.
