WebAR Skincare recommendation experience for Retailer App

PROJECT OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced WebAR developer to build a lightweight skincare recommendation experience for a retailer's website/app. The objective is to help shoppers discover the most suitable skincare products through a simple quiz and selfie upload, before adding products directly to their shopping cart. This is a campaign microsite that will integrate into an existing retailer ecosystem. We are not looking to build a proprietary AR engine from scratch. Existing WebAR SDKs and frameworks are encouraged where appropriate. USER JOURNEY The experience should follow this flow: - Shopper clicks campaign banner within the retailer app. - Dedicated landing page opens. - Shopper answers 3 to 5 skincare questions. Questions and logic will be provided by us. - Shopper uploads a selfie - The application displays a simulated skincare improvement ("Before / After") based on the selected skincare routine. Product mapping will be supplied by us. - Shopper adds recommended products directly into the retailer cart. - Shopper continues to the retailer checkout. SCOPE OF WORK: You will be responsible for: - Developing the complete WebAR experience - Building the frontend interface - Implementing the quiz supplied by us - Integrating selfie upload - Implementing the before/after comparison - Displaying recommended products - Integrating retailer Add to Cart functionality (API or retailer mechanism) - Integrating Google Analytics 4 event tracking - Cross-browser testing - Production deployment support with the retailer for troubleshooting - One-year maintenance for bug fixes WE WILL PROVIDE: - Final UI designs (Figma/Photoshop) - Quiz questions - Quiz logic - Product recommendation mapping - Product information - Brand assets - Retailer technical contacts for co-ordination/troubleshooting. TECHINCAL REQUIREMENTS: The solution must: - Be lightweight and optimised for retailer environments - Load quickly on mobile networks - Support modern iOS and Android browsers - Support Chrome, Safari and Edge - Use an existing WebAR SDK where appropriate - Not require installation of a native application - Be responsive across mobile and desktop.
