We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer or small technical team to migrate our company website from Webflow to WordPress. This is not just a simple rebuild. The website has existing organic traffic, indexed pages, SEO value, backlinks, blog/resources, service pages, case studies, lead magnets, forms, and internal linking structure. The main priority is to migrate the website without losing Google rankings, organic traffic, or lead generation performance. About the website: We are a global tech recruitment agency. Our website includes commercial service pages, industry pages, blog/resource content, case studies, lead magnets, forms/CTAs, and SEO-focused landing pages. We need the new WordPress version to be clean, fast, easy to manage, and SEO-safe. Main goal: Migrate the full website from Webflow to WordPress while preserving: Current URL structure where possible Google rankings Indexed pages Organic traffic Metadata Canonical tags Internal links Schema/microdata Backlink value Forms and tracking Page speed and mobile performance Scope of work: Pre-migration audit Crawl the current Webflow website. Prepare a full URL inventory. Identify all indexed and SEO-important pages. Review current metadata, H1/H2 structure, canonicals, sitemap, robots.txt, schema, internal links, forms, and tracking. Identify pages with organic traffic and backlinks. Prepare a migration plan before development starts. WordPress development Rebuild the website in WordPress. Recommend the best WordPress setup for performance, SEO, and easy content management. Create clean templates/CMS structures for services, industries, blog/resources, case studies, lead magnets, and landing pages. Preserve the current design and content structure as much as possible. Ensure the website is responsive, fast, and easy to edit. SEO-safe migration Preserve existing URLs wherever possible. Create a complete old URL to new URL redirect map. Set up proper 301 redirects for any changed URLs. Avoid redirect chains, redirect loops, and homepage-only redirects. Transfer all page titles, meta descriptions, H1s, canonical tags, image alt texts, and schema where relevant. Set up XML sitemap and robots.txt correctly. Make sure the staging website is not indexed. Prevent duplicate content issues from WordPress categories, tags, archives, or unnecessary pages. Tracking and conversion setup Preserve or reinstall GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and relevant conversion tracking. Test all forms, CTAs, booking links, and lead magnet flows. Make sure lead generation is not broken after migration. Pre-launch and post-launch QA Run a full pre-launch technical SEO QA. Test all priority pages and redirects. Check metadata, canonicals, sitemap, robots.txt, internal links, schema, page speed, mobile layout, and forms. Support launch-day checks. Monitor 404s, indexing, redirects, traffic, and performance after launch. Required experience: Proven experience migrating websites from Webflow to WordPress. Strong WordPress development skills. Strong technical SEO knowledge. Experience with SEO-sensitive website migrations. Experience with 301 redirects, URL mapping, canonicals, sitemap, robots.txt, schema, and GSC. Experience with performance optimization and Core Web Vitals. Ability to create clean, scalable WordPress CMS structures. Good communication and clear documentation. Nice to have: Experience with B2B SaaS, recruitment, agency, or SEO-heavy websites. Experience migrating blogs/resources and CMS collections. Experience with multilingual websites. Experience with programmatic SEO pages. Examples of Webflow to WordPress migrations you have completed. Examples of SEO-sensitive migrations where rankings/traffic were preserved. Your recommended approach for avoiding organic traffic loss. Your preferred WordPress stack and why. How you handle URL mapping and 301 redirects. How you test a migration before launch.
