Website Developer - Wordpress & Shopify

Web Developer (WordPress + Shopify) — Agency Role (Test Project First) I run a marketing agency and I’m currently looking to bring on a highly skilled web developer on a freelance/ongoing basis. This will start with a paid test project before any long-term work is offered. What I’m looking for You should be: * Highly experienced in WordPress and Shopify * Able to build and refine high-end, modern, conversion-focused websites * Strong in front-end detail (UI polish, responsiveness, spacing, typography, visual consistency) * Comfortable working with existing builds and improving them rather than always starting from scratch * Excellent in English communication (clear, fast, professional) Test Project (First Stage) I already have a WordPress website that is mostly built. It was originally created by me, but it’s not fully finished and needs a professional touch. Your task will be: * Refine and polish the existing WordPress site * Improve overall design consistency and layout * Replace placeholder/weak imagery with high-quality visuals * Fix spacing, responsiveness, and UI details * Improve overall “premium feel” and user experience * Ensure everything is clean, fast, and production-ready This is not a full rebuild — it’s a real-world finishing job, exactly the type of work you’d be doing regularly in this role. What I’ll be evaluating * Quality of final output (this is the most important) * Speed of delivery * Communication (clarity, responsiveness, professionalism) * Ability to take direction and improve things independently * Attention to detail Long-term opportunity If this goes well, there is consistent ongoing work available: * ~2 WordPress builds per month * ~1 Shopify e-commerce build per month * Regular landing pages, updates, and client projects This is a long-term role for the right person, not a one-off gig.
