Website Redesign and Development

We are an established brick-and-mortar mattress and furniture retailer looking to elevate our online presence. Our current website needs a major face-lift—it functions, but it doesn’t reflect the premium quality of our in-store experience. We need an expert UI/UX Designer to completely redesign our website to make it modern, visually stunning, and highly engaging. Crucially, while we currently operate as a traditional retail showroom, we are planning a transition to introduce E-Commerce. Your designs need to lay the groundwork for a seamless online shopping experience down the road. This design will be handed off to a developer. Key Responsibilities Audit & Redesign: Analyze our current website and redesign the user interface (UI) to improve aesthetics, navigation, and brand perception. E-Commerce Blueprinting: Design standard retail pages (Home, About, Locations) plus high-converting e-commerce templates (Product Listing Pages, Product Detail Pages, Cart, and Checkout flows) so we are ready for the transition. Mobile-First Design: Ensure the entire experience is flawless and intuitive on mobile devices, where most of our traffic originates. Deliverables: High-fidelity, interactive prototypes (preferably in Figma) ready for a developer to implement. We currently use Wordpress. Required Skills & Experience Proven track record in UI/UX web design (please provide a portfolio link showing retail/e-commerce work). Deep understanding of user psychology, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and modern web aesthetics. Experience designing for high-ticket or bulky physical products (furniture, appliances, automotive, etc.) is a massive plus. Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate on feedback loops. Project Scope & Budget Project Type: One-time project with potential for ongoing feature design. Timeline: 3–6 weeks (flexible for the right talent).
