Webtoon Colorist

Hiring: Webtoon / Comic Colorist We are looking to hire an experienced webtoon or comic colorist to help fully color webtoon panels based on our existing manga artwork. The artwork does not come with layered files, so you should be comfortable working from flattened manga pages. You may color over the artwork using blending modes and digital painting techniques, or use AI-assisted workflows where appropriate. As long as the final result is consistent, polished, and meets our quality standard, we are open to the workflow you prefer. This is a fun manga/webtoon project with multiple chapters available. Many of the character color palettes have already been established, and you will be working with our Creative Director to make sure the final pages look great and stay consistent. Responsibilities * Fully color manga/webtoon pages from flattened artwork * Maintain consistent character colors, lighting, mood, and overall style * Work closely with the Creative Director and apply feedback * Deliver clean, polished files ready for webtoon formatting * Use AI tools only where they help the final result and do not compromise consistency or quality Budget Our overall budget for Volume 1 is approximately $300–$500 total, depending on quality, speed, and scope. This breaks down to roughly $5–$7 per page/file, depending on complexity. Requirements * Experience coloring comics, manga, or webtoon panels * Strong sense of color, lighting, and readability * Ability to work from flattened files without layers * Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines * Comfortable working across a larger batch of pages AI-assisted workflows are acceptable, but you must use your own tools/credits. We are open to manual, AI-assisted, or hybrid workflows as long as the final result is consistent and polished.
