Job Summary The Weekend On-Call Scheduler / Care Coordinator is responsible for maintaining strong client and caregiver relationships while helping provide a high-quality in-home care experience. This role supports scheduling operations, fills open shifts, responds to caregiver and client calls, accurately documents all communication, and assists with office coordination tasks as directed by the Office Manager. During assigned weekend and non-business hours, this position serves in an on-call support capacity and is expected to respond promptly to urgent and non-urgent requests. The Scheduler / Care Coordinator also assists with client intakes during business and non-business hours as needed. Essential Functions · Answer incoming calls, take inquiries or messages, and respond in an upbeat, professional manner. · Manage all on-call requests during assigned non-business hours. · Communicate continuously with caregivers and clients to evaluate service requests, scheduling needs, and urgent concerns. · Fill open shifts by coordinating with caregivers based on availability, qualifications, and client needs. · Respond promptly and courteously to all client and caregiver calls. · Listen to client concerns regarding schedule changes, caregiver preferences, or service feedback, and make appropriate adjustments. · Schedule and coordinate day-to-day caregiver assignments with clients. · Document all calls, requests, and actions taken accurately in the system. · Communicate in real time with office personnel and support team coordination. · Assist with client intakes during business and non-business hours as needed. · Maintain current and complete records related to scheduling and caregiver communication. · Serve as a dependable team player within the office environment. Required Skills, Experience, and Availability · Minimum one year of AxisCare scheduling software experience is required. · Basic office, computer, and organizational skills. · Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills. · Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English clearly and professionally. · Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and take initiative with tasks or projects. · Dependable, reliable, and able to model an excellent work ethic. · Ability to communicate effectively with office staff and function as part of a team. · Available for on-call duty outside normal office hours as assigned. · Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Work Schedule This position requires weekend availability and on-call support during assigned non-business hours.
