Weekly Long Form Editor for Faceless Retirement Channel
Worldwide
Looking for a long form video editor for a faceless retirement channel. Think calm documentary, not hype. This is weekly work, one finished video every week, paid per video, and it turns into a steady ongoing role once we've found our rhythm. The feel is quiet and patient. The narration is slow and deliberate and the pauses do real work, so I need an editor who can sit inside a slow moment and let it breathe instead of rushing the next cut. No shouting, no flashy transitions, no stock billionaires or beach shots. The story carries the whole thing and your job is to hold a viewer to the end of a ten minute piece that never once raises its voice. Here's how the handoff works so you know exactly what you're getting. For each video I hand you a finished voice over track, already recorded and locked. You get a performance script that marks the pacing, the breaths, and rough timecodes, so you're never guessing where a line lands. You get a brand spec with the exact colors, fonts, safe zones, and the channel bug. And for some sequences I hand you pre built animated graphics, so those drop straight onto the timeline. Where you come in is building the rest of the visual world around that spine. I want an editor who can fill with premium B roll, the good stuff, not tired free clips, and who can bring in animated AI images to cover moments that stock can't. Motion that feels intentional and grounded in the world of the piece. You're matching a look that's already set, so this is about taste and restraint more than reinventing the style each time. On the experience side, you should already work at a professional level and come with your own toolkit. That means real comfort with motion graphics templates and the ability to build or adapt lower thirds, text animations, and simple data moments that match my brand. It means your own active licenses to premium libraries like Storyblocks and Envato Elements, so B roll, stock, and template access is covered on your end. And it means sourcing license free music that fits a restrained documentary tone, cleared for YouTube with no copyright headaches. I'm not looking to supply these accounts or chase down assets, I'm hiring someone who already has the pipeline. Each video is a package, not just the main cut. One thumbnail, a few vertical Shorts covers, a couple of Reel covers, and two carousels, all built to the same brand spec. What I care about most is storytelling and restraint. Can you make quiet hit hard. Can you build tension out of stillness. Most editors can't and that's fine, but that's the one skill I'm hiring on.
