Editorial Design Project – Flavor Architecture™ Overview Java Factory is seeking an exceptional editorial designer to transform an original manuscript into a premium thought leadership publication. This is not a sales brochure, product catalog, or marketing piece. It is a professionally written white paper introducing an original framework called Flavor Architecture™, which explores the design philosophy behind developing exceptional flavored coffee. The finished publication should feel like something produced by Apple, IDEO, Harvard Business Review, or Pentagram—not a traditional corporate white paper. Project Scope Design a 30–40 page editorial publication from an existing manuscript. Responsibilities include: Complete editorial layout Typography system Cover design Chapter dividers Pull quotes Custom diagrams Original infographics Data visualization Tables Iconography Page hierarchy Print-ready PDF Digital viewing version Illustrations & Diagrams One of the primary goals of this project is to develop a visual language around Flavor Architecture™. The designer will be responsible for creating custom diagrams that explain original concepts introduced in the manuscript. The manuscript is complete but will continue to receive minor refinements during the design process.
