Whole-House Interior Designer + Construction Drawings for Major Residential Remodel

I am planning a major remodel of an approximately 3,000 sq. ft. single-family home in Mill Creek, Washington, USA. I am looking for an experienced residential interior/architectural designer who can ideally handle both the creative interior design and detailed construction/interior drawings. I am not looking for rendering-only or drafting-only services. Project scope includes: * Overall whole-house design and space planning * Open-concept main-floor redesign, including structural wall changes * Complete kitchen design, including island, cabinetry and appliance layouts * Family/living/dining areas * Bathrooms and powder room * Laundry relocation to the upper floor * Dedicated home theater * Built-ins, cabinetry and feature walls * Lighting and reflected-ceiling design * Material, color and finish selections * Rear French-door/exterior-opening design * Low deck/outdoor-living design * Front exterior/garage-door design * Photorealistic interior and relevant exterior 3D renderings Expected documentation should include, as applicable: * Existing/as-built plans * Demolition and proposed plans * Fully dimensioned floor plans * Kitchen and cabinetry elevations * Interior elevations * Bathroom/laundry elevations * Reflected ceiling and lighting plans * Electrical/outlet layouts where appropriate * Door/window information * Material/finish schedules * Sections/details needed for contractor pricing and construction * Editable/source design files at project completion All drawings must use U.S. feet/inches and be suitable for coordination with U.S. contractors. Structural engineering will be handled separately by a local Washington structural engineer. The selected designer should be able to coordinate the engineer’s beam/post/structural information into the overall design and drawing set. I am also considering having the existing house professionally captured using Matterport or another 3D scanning/measurement system. Experience creating accurate as-built Revit/CAD models from Matterport, point clouds, E57/MatterPak or similar data is a strong plus. Critical dimensions can be field-verified separately as needed. When applying, please provide: 1. 2–3 examples of major residential remodels or whole-house projects you personally worked on. 2. At least one example showing both the interior design/3D renderings and the corresponding detailed construction/interior drawing set. 3. Examples of U.S. residential projects, if available. 4. Please identify which examples were actually constructed. 5. Explain which portions of the project you personally performed. 6. Tell me what software you use (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.). 7. Tell me whether you have experience working from Matterport/point-cloud data. Strong interior-design ability is important. I am looking for someone who can help develop and refine the design, materials, cabinetry, lighting and overall aesthetic—not simply translate an already-completed design into CAD. At the same time, the final design needs to be documented with enough detail for contractor estimating and construction. I would prefer to agree on a fixed-price project with milestones after reviewing relevant work samples and confirming the exact scope.
