WooCommerce / Lightspeed sync stalls mid-run

Project description: I need an experienced WooCommerce / WordPress developer to diagnose and permanently fix a Lightspeed product sync that is stalling part-way through its daily run. Problem Our Lightspeed-to-WooCommerce sync no longer completes successfully. It starts, runs part-way, and then stalls before finishing, leaving inventory and product data out of date. Background On July 1, the website began crashing daily for about 10–15 minutes around 4:00–5:00 PM EST. No plugins were updated and no manual site changes were made before this started. Our host, Rocket.net, found that our cron setup was messy and consolidated the cron jobs to prevent the crashes. After that cleanup, the daily crashes stopped, but the Lightspeed sync began stalling. We also reverted back to the old cron jobs to test whether the cron changes themselves caused the sync issue, but the sync problem still needs proper diagnosis. Current setup WooCommerce store Lightspeed R-Series POS Roughly 6,000–7,000 products syncing Main custom sync script appears to be: wp-content/plugins/zen-lightspeed-cloud/sync-products.php There are 3 related Lightspeed plugins involved: LightSpeed POS for WooCommerce – the core WooCommerce/Lightspeed integration plugin that connects Lightspeed Retail with WooCommerce and handles baseline product/inventory syncing between the two systems.woocommerce WooCommerce LightSpeed Cloud – a custom plugin built for us in 2015 to support additional customized syncing behavior not covered by the standard plugin Zen Agency – LightSpeed Cloud – a newer custom plugin built last year when we previously had similar stalled-sync issues; this appears to be the plugin most directly related to the current sync-products.php process. Important observation If I keep the Lightspeed settings/admin page open in wp-admin, the sync sometimes appears to continue and complete. If that page is not open, it seems to stall. This may or may not be relevant, but I wanted to mention it. I'm under the impression that triggering wp-cron.php via external web requests (wget) and raw PHP executions for some reason is needed in order for the Lightspeed sync to work properly but I could be wrong. What I need I need someone to: Diagnose why the sync script is stalling. Review cron behavior, WP-Cron / WP-CLI setup, scheduled tasks, and plugin/server logs. Determine whether this is a cron trigger issue, timeout/memory issue, locking issue, API issue, or plugin code issue. Implement a permanent fix so the sync completes daily without manual intervention and without crashing the website. Success criteria Daily Lightspeed sync finishes successfully on its own Inventory/product data stays current No site crashes caused by the sync process Due Date This is urgent because inventory is currently out of date.
