We are looking for an experienced WordPress web designer and developer to work with our team on three website projects. This is not a basic template build. We are looking for someone with strong UI/UX, conversion-focused design, WordPress development, responsive design, and the ability to take direction while also bringing strategic ideas to the table. The selected freelancer will be responsible for designing and building polished, premium websites that look excellent on both desktop and mobile. You must be comfortable creating custom page layouts, improving user flow, building sections from scratch, and making strategic recommendations throughout the project. Our goal is to build websites that feel modern, high-end, trustworthy, fast, and designed to generate leads. Project 1: NewLife Marketing Website NewLife Marketing is a Canadian marketing agency offering Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, web design, content creation, CRM systems, and growth strategies for businesses. We are rebuilding our full company website on WordPress. The website will be approximately 30–40 pages, including service pages, industry pages, location pages, case studies, company pages, and contact/conversion pages. Most written content is already completed or will be provided by our team. Your role is to turn that content into an exceptional website experience. Responsibilities for the NewLife Website Design and build a premium WordPress website from the ground up. Create a modern, polished, high-converting visual style. Improve the layout, hierarchy, spacing, and flow of every page. Build custom service page layouts, landing pages, case study pages, and contact pages. Create strong calls-to-action throughout the site. Build mobile, tablet, and desktop versions of every page. Add tasteful animations, hover effects, scroll effects, transitions, and interactive elements. Create a clean design system with consistent typography, buttons, colours, spacing, icons, cards, and sections. Make the navigation simple, intuitive, and conversion-focused. Ensure the website feels like a high-end Canadian marketing agency, not a generic WordPress template. Optimize the site for page speed, SEO-friendly structure, and usability. Help guide us on what visuals, graphics, icons, videos, or content sections will make each page stronger. Project 2: Construction Company Website The second project is a full WordPress website for a construction company 30-40 Pages. This site needs to showcase completed projects, services, workmanship, team credibility, before-and-after visuals, construction process, and lead-generation opportunities. We will work closely with you on the company direction, services, branding, photos, videos, and business goals. You will be expected to help create the full website structure and visual direction. Responsibilities for the Construction Website Create the full website structure and page layout. Design a high-end construction-focused visual identity. Build the website for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Create pages for services, projects, galleries, company information, process, contact, and lead generation. Build strong project showcase sections using photos, video, drone footage, and before-and-after images. Create layouts that make the company look credible, established, professional, and high-value. Add clear calls-to-action for estimates, consultations, phone calls, and form submissions. Build lead forms and connect them to our CRM if required. Create a fast, clean, easy-to-manage WordPress backend. Ensure the website is designed for long-term SEO growth and future service/location pages. Suggest the best page structure, user journey, design elements, and visual content needed to make the website stand out. Project 3: Blog Page Build The third project is a smaller WordPress project. We need a professionally designed blog page and blog post template for another website already Built. Responsibilities Design and build a modern blog archive page. Create a clean and easy-to-read blog post template. Create category filtering, featured post sections, recent posts, and related-post sections where appropriate. Make the blog fully responsive across desktop and mobile. Ensure the blog layout is SEO-friendly, fast, and easy for our team to update. Design Style We Are Looking For We want websites that feel similar to premium SaaS companies, high-end agencies, and modern service brands. The design should be: Modern and minimal Clean and visually organized High-end and professional Conversion-focused Strong on spacing and typography Built with custom layouts rather than generic templates Interactive without being over-animated Designed to build trust quickly Mobile-first and responsive Easy to navigate Built for long-term growth We like websites with strong visual hierarchy, clear sections, subtle animations, polished transitions, custom icons, quality image placement, premium cards, testimonial sections, case studies, and strong calls-to-action. Technical Requirements You must have strong experience with: WordPress development Responsive mobile and desktop design UI/UX design Conversion-focused website design WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Bricks, Breakdance, Gutenberg, or similar Custom WordPress layouts and reusable components Forms and CRM integrations Basic technical SEO structure Website speed optimization Image optimization Animation and interaction design Blog and CMS setup Website handoff and training We are open to your recommendation on the best WordPress builder and setup, as long as the final websites are fast, scalable, secure, and easy for our team to manage. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has built premium WordPress websites for agencies, service businesses, construction companies, or similar industries. Has a strong portfolio with modern, high-end examples. Understands how to build websites that generate leads, not just look good. Can take written content and turn it into strong visual sections. Can recommend improvements instead of waiting for exact instructions. Has strong communication and can collaborate with our team throughout the project. Pays close attention to small details. Can provide clear timelines and work through milestones. Is available for ongoing work after these projects are completed. Important Notes These websites must be custom-built and should not look like generic templates. We want someone who can think strategically about layout, flow, visual storytelling, and conversion. You will work directly with our team and receive feedback throughout the process. We expect organized communication, progress updates, and a professional handoff. The selected freelancer may receive ongoing website, landing page, blog, and client project work from our agency.
