WordPress Developer Needed - Cloneable GeneratePress Template + Automation Script for Local Sites

I run a rank-and-rent business and am scaling to 50+ local business lead-gen sites. I need a system built once and reused, not individual sites designed one-by-one. Our stack: WordPress, GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks, hosted on Cloudways (DigitalOcean/Vultr). Scope of work: 1. Master template site — One polished GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks site with standard sections (Hero, Services, Service Areas, Reviews, About, Contact/CTA, Footer w/ NAP schema), built as reusable GenerateBlocks patterns/global styles so new sites can be assembled by dragging in sections. 2. Branded child theme — Fork of the GP child theme with our agency branding in wp-admin only (login screen, dashboard footer) — not the live client-facing site. Include a Customizer panel with fields for: Client Business Name, Client Logo, Primary Brand Color, Client Phone Number — all wired to actually update the live site output. 3. Duplication/automation script — Using Cloudways’ API/Clone App feature plus WP-CLI, build a repeatable process that: • Clones the master site to a new Cloudways app • Runs search-replace on the domain/URLs • Resets permalinks • Ideally accepts input variables (city, phone, business name) to auto-populate on clone • Optionally adds the new domain via Cloudways API 4. Documentation — A short SOP doc or Loom walkthrough so I can run this myself going forward without needing you for every new site. Ideal candidate has: • Strong GeneratePress/GenerateBlocks experience • Built WP-CLI deployment or cloning scripts before (please share an example or repo) • Experience with the Cloudways API specifically • Comfortable running search-replace on live databases without breaking things • Bonus: experience with rank-and-rent, local SEO sites, or agency-style multi-site setups Budget for full project: $800–$1200 fixed price, depending on final scope discussed after the test task.
