WordPress Developer Needed for Modern Contractor Website (SiteGround Access Provided)

Project Overview I am seeking an experienced WordPress developer to help build a professional business website for a low-voltage and life-safety systems integration company. Hosting is already active on SiteGround, and developer access will be provided through SiteGround Collaborator access and WordPress admin access only. This project is not a simple template installation. I am looking for someone who can help structure and implement a clean, modern services website appropriate for commercial and government-facing clients. Scope of Work Developer responsibilities include: • Build structured homepage layout • Create multiple service pages • Configure navigation/menu hierarchy • Implement modern layout styling and spacing • Add subtle motion/parallax sections where appropriate • Optimize responsiveness (desktop and mobile) • Configure theme and plugins as needed • Maintain clean backend organization • Ensure performance stability inside SiteGround environment This is a structured services website. No e-commerce functionality is required. Services to Be Represented on Website The site will present the following service areas: • Structured Network Cabling (Fiber & Copper) • Secured Access Systems • Video Surveillance Systems • Automated Gate Systems • Intrusion Detection Systems • Fire Alarm & Detection Systems Experience building contractor, infrastructure, engineering, or technical services websites is preferred. Hosting Environment The site is already hosted. Developer will receive: • SiteGround Collaborator access • WordPress admin access Developer will NOT receive access to: • billing • domains • master account settings All work will be completed inside the existing environment. Design Direction The goal is a professional infrastructure contractor appearance — not a generic template look. Preferred characteristics: • clean spacing • strong service positioning • modern typography • subtle motion/parallax sections • professional layout hierarchy • suitable for commercial and government audiences The website should support positioning appropriate for commercial and government clients and align with materials such as a capability statement. The website should include a Capability Statement page with a visible PDF download button suitable for government and institutional clients. Developers comfortable working with Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence, Elementor, Block Editor, or similar professional frameworks are welcome. Final result should appear professionally built rather than template-based. Content Status Some content already exists. Developer should be comfortable: • organizing layout structure • improving page flow • recommending placement adjustments when appropriate Copywriting is not required unless discussed separately. Deliverables Completed WordPress website including: • homepage layout • service pages • navigation structure • mobile responsiveness • stable performance • clean backend configuration All delivered within existing SiteGround hosting environment.
