Job Description Overview We are looking for a highly skilled, senior-fledged WordPress Full-Stack Developer with a deep understanding of Technical SEO to audit, troubleshoot, and fix a series of performance, code, and crawlability issues on our WordPress website. The ideal candidate should not just rely on plugins, but have the ability to dive into backend code, database optimization, and server configurations to deliver clean, long-term solutions. Scope of Work & Responsibilities Core Web Vitals & PageSpeed Optimization: * Diagnose and resolve LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) and CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) issues for both desktop and mobile. Optimize Server Response Time (TTFB) through advanced caching, database cleanup, and asset optimization. Improve overall Google PageSpeed Insights scores. Code & Markup Cleanup: * Identify and fix HTML/CSS errors and validation issues that affect rendering or SEO. Eliminate render-blocking resources and minify/combine files cleanly without breaking site functionality. Technical SEO & Crawlability: Audit and resolve bulk 3xx redirect chains/loops to ensure a clean crawl path. Fix broken internal links and alignment issues affecting search engine bot indexing. Required Skills & Qualifications Expert-level WordPress Development: Deep knowledge of WordPress core, PHP, MySQL, custom themes, and plugin architecture (knowing when to code instead of adding another plugin). Frontend Mastery: Advanced proficiency in clean HTML5, CSS3 (including modern layouts like Flexbox/Grid), and JavaScript. Technical SEO Expertise: Proven track record of fixing crawl errors, managing indexation, and handling complex redirect mappings. Performance Tuning: Experience with server-side optimization, CDN configuration (e.g., Cloudflare), and advanced WordPress caching strategies. Tools: Proficient with Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Screaming Frog.
