WordPress Developer and CMS Migration Expert (3+ Years Experience)

Seeking a WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience in website development, customization, optimization, SEO (AIO), security, and responsive (mobile-first) design. Key Responsibilities: • Support creation of multiple environments (local/development, testing/staging, and live/production) with code in GitHub pushing to all three environments and redundancies to push CMS updates (created in test/stage) to live and local. • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites with templates build in Elementor and with Yoast as an embedded SEO tool • Manage pages, posts, media, themes, plugins, and content structure • Use/maintain Tailwinds (integrated to CMS) for CSS • Create/provide template files that can be used in Figma to create content and convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel perfect web pages • Implement SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, sitemaps, URLs) • Configure Google Analytics, GTM, and Search Console • Improve website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals • Manage website security, backups, updates, and vulnerability fixes • Collaborate with in-house marketing and IT teams and outsourced IT/development partners for integrated work • Create documentation and provide website support Required Skills: • WordPress Development including Elementor (3+ Years) • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery • Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS • Theme Customization and Plugin Management • SEO and Website Analytics • Security and Performance Optimization • Git, cPanel, DNS & SSL Management Design and UI Skills: • Medium/High Figma Knowledge • UI/UX Understanding • Basic Graphic Design (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator) understanding • Ability to develop content guidelines (optimized photo specs, suggested length of copy for specific elements, etc.) for ongoing content creation/improvement
