Summary

📋 ABOUT THE ROLE We're a lawyer‑led SEO & website agency that builds and optimises WordPress / Elementor sites for law firms and regulated advisory practices. We're looking for a detail‑obsessed WordPress / Elementor Assistant to own day‑to‑day implementation on our client sites. You'll be the person we trust to take approved designs & copy and turn them into clean, consistent, responsive pages fast. This is a part‑time, long‑term role (starting around 10–20 hours/week) for someone who enjoys the craft of Elementor: tidy structures, consistent spacing, and smooth responsive layouts. We're not chasing the cheapest possible hire; we want someone who will learn our patterns, grow with us, and take pride in being the "last mile" of site quality. --- 🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll work mostly inside established designs, templates, and patterns. Core responsibilities: - Implement small changes on active client sites - Font/size/spacing tweaks - Swapping headings, text, images, and icons - Updating buttons, links, and simple layout adjustments - Build out pages in Elementor from approved designs & copy - Duplicate existing service pages and adjust content - Insert global sections / saved templates correctly - Ensure consistent styling across a site (typography, colours, spacing) - Quality‑check pages before they go live - Check H1/H2/H3 structure - Test forms, links, and buttons - Review mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts - Keep simple records of what you've changed on each site (change logs) - Communicate clearly with our Web Development Lead on what's done, what's blocked, and what you need You will not be dealing directly with clients at the start. Your day‑to‑day collaboration will be with our internal team. --- 🎯 WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS) - During agreed overlap hours, you acknowledge new tasks within about 10–15 minutes, so the team knows it's in motion. - Small changes are usually completed within 1–2 hours during overlap, and in any case within 12 hours of being assigned based on your agreed schedule. - Live pages ship with noticeably fewer avoidable issues (headings, margins, responsiveness, broken links). - You've learned our preferred patterns and can implement new pages with minimal back‑and‑forth, taking real ownership of edits and build quality. --- ✅ REQUIREMENTS - Strong hands‑on experience with WordPress + Elementor specifically (not just "I can learn it" or experience in other builders) with real Elementor examples to show. - Strong eye for detail: you notice misalignment, inconsistent fonts, and messy spacing. - Comfortable following existing designs, patterns, and written SOPs. - Reliable and responsive during agreed overlap hours: - Our Web Development Lead typically works between 12:00am and 4:00pm Sydney time. - You must be able to overlap at least 2–3 hours most weekdays within that window; more overlap (including some time with the founder in Sydney hours) is a plus. - Clear written English and comfort using Loom‑style screen recordings. - Mature team player: you're comfortable taking direction, giving and receiving feedback, and focusing on the quality of the work rather than titles or ego. --- ➕ NICE TO HAVE - Experience working with agencies or remote teams. - Familiarity with: RankMath (or similar SEO plugins), WordPress admin basics (users, menus, posts), and simple on‑page SEO hygiene. --- 📌 PRACTICAL DETAILS - Type: Part‑time, long‑term (we're looking for someone to grow with us, not a one‑off project). - Hours: Start around 10–20 hours/week, with potential to grow as we add more clients. - Time zones: Flexible, but you must be able to overlap with both our Web Development Lead (Pakistan) and founder (Sydney) as above. - Our team often works on weekends to move faster for clients. If you’re open to helping with small tasks on weekends when needed, that’s a big plus and usually leads to more opportunities for bigger tasks and responsibilities. - Compensation: Hourly in the range of AUD $11–13/hr (approximately USD $7–9/hr, depending on experience and portfolio).
