WordPress / Elementor Designer & Developer Needed for Political Organization Website Redesign

We are looking for an experienced WordPress designer and developer to help redesign and rebuild a website for a political organization. Please do not apply if you are uncomfortable working with political organizations or political websites. We respect everyone’s views, but we want to work with someone who is comfortable taking on this type of project. About the Project The current website is built with: * WordPress * Elementor * A custom theme * Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Our goal is to simplify the website by eliminating the dependency on the custom theme and ACF wherever possible. We want the new site to be built using standard WordPress and Elementor so it is easier to maintain and update going forward. This is not a simple theme refresh. We are looking for someone with strong UI/UX skills who can modernize the site while preserving the existing content. What We’re Looking For We want to: * Completely redesign the visual look and feel * Create a modern, engaging experience that appeals to a younger audience * Improve navigation and overall user experience * Keep the existing content while reorganizing it where appropriate * Build the site using Elementor best practices * Remove unnecessary custom code and ACF dependencies * Ensure the site is responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile * Improve page layouts, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy * Maintain good performance and SEO-friendly structure Requirements * Strong portfolio of modern WordPress websites * Extensive experience with Elementor * Experience migrating sites away from custom themes and ACF * Excellent UI/UX design skills * Ability to recommend better layouts and navigation rather than simply copying the existing site * Clean, organized development practices Bonus Skills * Experience with political, nonprofit, advocacy, or membership organizations * Experience improving website performance and Core Web Vitals * Familiarity with accessibility best practices To Apply Please include: 1.
