WordPress Implementation — Small Informational Websites (Ongoing)

Summary

| Summary I build small informational websites and need someone to handle WordPress implementation on an ongoing basis. Each milestone is a standalone site with fully written content provided to you. You'll find a suitable theme, build out the pages, implement the structure and linking exactly as specified, and follow a specific publishing sequence for each site. This is a standing project with multiple milestones. Each milestone covers one website. I'll provide the domain, content documents, and any site-specific details when each milestone is assigned. | Pricing The first milestone (first site) will be $75. Every milestone after that will be $55 each. | What You'll Receive Per Milestone A set of Word/Google Docs (typically 7–10 pages — Home, About, Contact, and several blog posts) Each page labeled with heading levels (H1, H2, H3), body text, internal links (destination + anchor text specified), at least one external link on a specified page, and a YouTube video link for the homepage Meta titles and meta descriptions for every page, already written and verified against pixel-width limits A standard WordPress dashboard for that site, with full access to do what's needed to build it out | What You'll Do for Each Site No custom branding. No logo design, custom color palette, or unique visual identity needed. Use a simple, clean, generic-looking WordPress theme. Time should go toward structure and function, not visual design. Use an appropriate theme/template that supports all pages, internal linking, and the content structure described in each document. Feel free to reuse the same theme/template across multiple sites rather than starting from scratch each time. Match the heading hierarchy exactly. Each page must use H1, H2, H3, and body text in the same structure and order as the source document. Do not rewrite, condense, or reorganize the content. Implement all internal links between pages exactly as specified in each document (correct destination page and anchor text). Images will be provided in a shared folder and shown in each content document. Each blog post and the Home Page has one hero image to be placed at the top of the page as the main header/featured image. The About and Contact pages do not need images. Each content document will show which image goes with that page, and the same images will also be in the shared folder for you to download and use. Embed the YouTube video on the homepage as specified in the document. Add meta title and meta description to each page's SEO settings (use an SEO plugin like Yoast or RankMath — whichever you typically use). Generate a sitemap once the site is built, and add a visible link to the sitemap (e.g. "Sitemap" in the footer) on the homepage. Confirm the theme and any plugins don't accidentally block crawling. Check that robots.txt isn't restricting search engines and that no security/SEO plugin setting is set to discourage indexing once a page is meant to be live. Basic functional needs: simple navigation menu, footer, mobile responsiveness, and anything else reasonably required to make this a clean, functional, presentable blog. Use whatever tools, plugins, and process you're most comfortable with to meet these requirements efficiently — including migration plugins or other tools to speed up future milestones. How you get there is up to you, as long as the requirements are met. | Publishing Sequence (Follow This for Every Site) Each site goes live in two stages. For most milestones, you will only receive the content for the first stage upfront — I'll send the final page (the one with the external link) separately once Stage 1 is confirmed indexed. Stage 1 — Build and publish everything you've received Build all pages provided in that milestone Publish and make crawlable/indexable: all pages you have at that point Generate and submit a sitemap reflecting the published pages Notify me when Stage 1 is live so I can confirm indexing Stage 2 — Add and publish the final page Once I confirm the rest of the site is indexed, I'll send you the final page's content (the one with the external link) Build and publish that page Update the sitemap to include it and resubmit | Time & Scope Estimate I've put together a breakdown of what each milestone typically involves and roughly how long each task takes, based on the scope above. Please review it before applying — it's attached separately.
