WordPress vs. Squarespace/Wix Consultation

I run the website and content for a dental education/coaching business (course platform is separate, hosted on Mighty — this is just about our marketing website and blog). Our current site is on a custom-coded WordPress theme, and our developer is stepping away from ongoing support by the end of September. Before I commit to a direction, I'm looking for an experienced consultant to help me understand: Platform recommendation — whether it makes sense to stay on WordPress (and if so, what setup: managed hosting + a standard/page-builder theme vs. our current custom code) or move to something more streamlined like Squarespace or Wix, given that I want to be able to make day-to-day content and SEO updates myself without needing a developer. Realistic SEO expectations — what's actually involved in maintaining good SEO on each platform option (not a full SEO strategy, just an honest picture of the day-to-day/month-to-month effort). Maintenance and ongoing cost estimate — a rough sense of what ongoing hosting, maintenance, and any plugin/subscription costs would look like for each option. Migration effort (if applicable) — if a platform switch is recommended, a realistic estimate of what that migration would involve (pages, blog posts, redirects, integrations with our email platform (Kit) and course platform (Mighty)).
