WordPress/WooCommerce Developer + Google Shopping Specialist — Base + Profit-Share (Ongoing)

Summary

We sell printers, copiers, and other items through several storefronts. The site is live but incomplete. We need someone to finish the technical build-out and then own the ongoing profit performance of two connected systems: 1. QuickBase → WordPress Data Sync Build an automated feed pulling product data from QuickBase into WooCommerce: descriptions, images, pricing, inventory. Critically, this sync must also carry landed product cost per SKU and shipping cost/parameters per SKU — these are backend-only fields, never shown to customers, but essential to how we calculate profit. Maintain the sync working cleanly as we add new SKUs on an ongoing basis. Bad or missing data here doesn't just hurt the customer experience — it breaks our ability to measure profit accurately, so this needs to be built right from the start. 2. Google Shopping / Merchant Center Own the Merchant Center feed end-to-end: setup, optimization, disapproval resolution, data quality Manage or advise on Shopping campaigns with one goal: profit, not spend efficiency or traffic. Ensure orders from Shopping can be isolated/tagged so profit can be tracked by channel. This is where the bonus is earned Compensation structure: Base: Monthly retainer for the sync build and ongoing feed maintenance Performance bonus: Calculated monthly on Shopping profit only: Shopping profit = product cost, Google Ads spend, CC fee, and shipping cost all subtracted out — what's left is the only number that matters. Bonus paid as a percentage of profit, in tiers that increase as profit scales (thresholds set together in the first 30–60 days once we have a clean baseline) No bonus tied to volume, traffic, ROAS, or any metric that isn't actual profit. Who this fits: You think in margin, not top-line numbers. You've managed a feed or campaign where you can point to profit you generated, not just sales you drove. You want an ongoing relationship, not a one-off project. Not a fit if: You're used to being paid or measured on clicks, sales volume, or revenue. You need guaranteed hourly pay with no stake in the outcome. To apply: Tell us about a time you improved profit — not sales, not traffic — through Google Shopping, and how you measured it.
